Drone Operator

Job Description

Fly - Assembling, preflighting, launching, and recovering unmanned aircraft to test and optimize operational systems and validate new engineering changes as well as software and hardware in the early stages of development.

Maintain - Maintaining the existing fleet of aircraft and ground equipment, as well as maintaining new systems we are building for function-specific flight tests.

Test - Performing tests and demonstrations related to US FAA Type Certification. Look for opportunities to continuously improve our processes, safety protocols, our hardware and software, and make operations easier and more efficient for operations centers around the world. You will be called upon to provide detailed feedback to the design team.

This is a Contract position with a duration of 6-9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Half Moon Bay, California.

Work Environment

Shift: Monday - Friday

Time: 8am - 5pm but needs to be flexible as you may help out on swing or cover shifts. Candidate needs to be open to overtime, averaging ~50 hours a week, with some Saturdays needed.

Must be comfortable working outdoors as 90 of time will be in an outdoor environment.
