Alaska Tour Pilot 2026 Season
Alaska Helicopter Tours operates from two bases in South Central Alaska.
We are looking to fill several tour pilot positions for the upcoming summer season. Our tours do not have designated landing spots. We look for people who possess the necessary skills and decision making to choose their landing spot. If a long term career in Alaska is your goal this a great place to start. We deal with wind, weather, and mountains every day of the job. Our tour pilots fly between 250-350 hours over the summer.
R44 Tour Pilot Requirements:
- CFI certificate
- Part 135 minimums
- 750 total time
- 300 dual given
Preferred Pilot Experience:
- IFR certificate
- The more dual given the better
- Flight operations at or near full throttle
Pay/Housing:
- $5000 monthly salary beginning first day of 135 training to end of summer contract.
- Tour pilots make tips ranging from $1000-$3000 per month.
- Housing provided at both bases.
