ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
• Prepare and review to include but not limited to; flight plans, considering such factors as altitude, terrain, weather, range, weight, cruise control data, airport facilities, navigational aids, and more as assigned by PIC.
• Ensure proper aviation equipment is aboard the aircraft.
• Ensure required airworthiness inspections are complete and previous discrepancies have been corrected or properly deferred in accordance for that aircraft (as applicable).
• Assist PIC to complete the aircraft preflight inspection and perform preflight preparation.
• Assures proper loading, distributing, and security of patients and other passengers.
• Ensures provisions for passenger comfort and any special emergency equipment such as life vests are aboard (when required).
• Operate aircraft at favorable altitudes taking into account turbulence, oxygen requirements and comfort of the passengers during the flight.
• Assist the PIC with any company paperwork or processes related to aircraft operation and aircraft discrepancies.
• Assist the PIC to ensure that copies of any reports submitted to the FAA under the authority of FAR 135.19 are also submitted to the Director of Operations in a timely manner.
• Must be highly knowledgeable of the Company General Operations Manual, General Maintenance Manual, FAA Regulations, Aircraft Flight Manuals, and all other material pertinent to duties.
• The Second in Command shall perform those duties stipulated throughout the General Operations Manual and specific responsibilities designated to the Second in Command by the company and the Pilot in Command.
• Assists in the safe and efficient operation of the flight.
• Must be proficient in duties such as:
o System monitoring
o Fuel management
o Weight and balance
o Aircraft performance
o Record keeping
• Will advise the Pilot in Command of any abnormality during ground or flight operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Multi-engine Commercial Certificate
• Current Medical Certificate (2nd class at least)
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Demonstrated Instrument Proficiency in Company simulator
• 2000 flight hours
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous EMS experience
• ATP Written
• Learjet 35/45 or similar flight time
• Alaska experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Operates the aircraft in safe and efficient manner.
Maintains a schedule set by the Chief Pilot at the designated base.
Ensures the aircraft is ready to be dispatched.
Complies with all FAR requirements and Guardian requirements.
Maintains cleanliness of the aircraft.
Accurately completes all required paperwork.
Educational improvement related to awareness of industry best practices.
Ensures that all pertinent information about flight operations will be disseminated through the Operational Communications Center.
Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner at all times.
Attends meetings when required, and is required for training and check-flights outside of normal duty shift rotations.
Upholds company policies and procedures.
Performs other duties during a scheduled shift as requested by Director of Operations or Chief Pilot.
Maintains a safety culture as a primary concern.
QUALIFICATIONS
• ATP Certificate
• Current Medical Certificate (2nd class)
• 2500 Hours Total Time
• 1000 Hours PIC
• 500 Hours Multi-Engine PIC
• 500 Hours and/or 1 year Single Pilot IFR experience
• 100 Night hours
• 6 months flying in Alaska terrain
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

JOB SUMMARY
To assist in operating the aircraft in a safe and proficient manner, while complying with all applicable FAR’s, Company Ops Specs/Manual contents, Aircraft Flight Manual and any policies and procedures set forth by GMR.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
• Completes preflight planning and preparation.
• Conforms to normal, abnormal and emergency operations.
• Maintains a professional manner with all cliental and employees.
• Assists in aeronautical decision-making and exercises sound judgment.
• Strives to maintain a teamwork environment while on duty.
• Assists in post-flight duties.
• Completes all necessary paperwork.
• Assists Captain with all duties as assigned.
• Attends monthly safety meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
• ATP Written
• 2nd Class Medical required.
• 1500 Total Time
• 1000 PIC Total Time
• 300 Multi-Engine PIC
• 50 hrs. Night PIC
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Skills:
• Basic computer knowledge.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Working Conditions:
• Work is performed in a variety of settings to include field; emergency department and office environment. Work may be stressful at times.
Physical Demands:
• Requires prolonged sitting, lifting and bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports.
Mental Requirements:
• Critical thinking skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
