Innovate to solve the worlds most important challengesAs a Workflow Specialist here at Honeywell, youwill be responsible for leading and optimizing workflow processes to enhanceefficiency and effectiveness in the R&D/Training/Operational sewingdepartment. Your role will involve collaborating with Design and workingwith cross-functional teams in operations, human resources, customer serviceand quality to improve coordination and communication between departments. Youwill report directly to the Design Supervisor and work on location at ourDayton facility.
Key Responsibilities- Operator Sewing Training School
Facilitate Sewing Test on sewing applicants
Onboard training for new hire sewers before placement into production. Assess and provide specific skill training for machine type and process required by operations. - ISP and FF Sewing Training
Perform training to ISP and Fire Fighters on certain repairs that can be done by the service providers and departments - Skilled sewer who can complete finishing sewing operations to help flow and fix bottlenecks of either pant or coat line
- End of the month push sewer.
- Support production at Accumark stage when additional support is needed to get larger orders to production in crunch times.
- Liaison w/ production sewers and design team to interpret construction impacts that challenge manufacturability.
- Support Design w/ make of sew by samples for the Sample library For Production sewer reference
- Voice of sewer when new product is in development stages, providing feedback to design on ergo or general sewing issues w/ development patterns.
- Knowledge to share construction improvement opportunities to support production flow efficiencies or ergo challenges.
- Development samples to send to customer to approve new option designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve coordination and communication
- Optimize workflow processes to increase productivity

YOU MUST HAVE- High School Diploma
- 1 year of experience in sewing

- HFR/Morning Pride product knowledge and 5 years of sewing experience utilizing various industrial type sewing machines
- Experience in process improvement methodologies
