Position Summary
Ensure quality in manufacturing processes and products through monitoring and execution of the quality system.
Responsibilities
- Manage the attendance of personnel in charge such as inspectors, quality leaders, hourly and first samples.
- Ensuring staff scheduling for overtime.
- Audits of quality process and L1/L2 security
- Provide support to any situation that threatens the process or product or quality system.
- Monitor quality TIBs in assigned cells.
- Follow up on corrective actions proposed by the multifunctional team, such as reflected in the top 25, press boards and/or TIBs.
- Effective communication with support and production departments such as visual aids, updating criteria, new customer complaints, alerts.
- Ensure the escalation process for risk situations to the process and/or product according to the escalation process.
- Assignment of personnel according to the needs of the areas where support is provided.
- Ensure correct monitoring and execution of quality alerts in manufacturing processes.
- Monitoring and closing of Quality Near Hits raised to quality personnel in the manufacturing process.
- Ensure the MSA of the personnel under your charge according to the established process/procedure.
- Promote an HPT work culture through participation in accordance with their role.
- Participate in Kaizen and HPT activities ensuring their correct implementation.
- Ensure compliance with safety near hits by the personnel in charge according to the plants objective.
- Comply, promote and actively participate in the requirements corresponding to the ISO 14001 quality and environmental management systems (SAA).
- In addition, all those similar activities and similar responsibilities that by the nature of the job are inherent to the position.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in quality areas and ISO Systems English level: Advanced English Qualifications
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Standards
- Preferable knowledge ISO/ IATF16949
- Preferable Aerospace standard AS9100 knowledge
