What You Will Do:
As a Quality Systems Compliance Intern at Collins Aerospace, youll play a crucial role in supporting our Enterprise Quality Audit Team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Support Quality Management: Assist Collins Quality managers, engineers, and specialists in developing and maintaining our AS9100/ISO QMS, ensuring top-tier compliance and performance.
- Drive Innovation: Collaborate with the team to advance manufacturing innovations and contribute to global QMS improvements.
- Prepare for Certification: Aid in audit planning, execution, reporting, and corrective actions, and assist with preparation for third-party certification body audits.
- Assist with Special Audits: Support special audits and assessments, including training with Special Process auditors
What You Will Learn:
This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in aerospace quality systems and compliance, including:
- Understanding QMS Standards: Develop a deep understanding of ISO9000/AS9100 QMS and regulatory requirements critical to customer satisfaction.
- Audit Processes: Learn the fundamentals of conducting and supporting quality audits and compliance strategies on a global scale.
- Collaboration and Innovation: Enhance your skills in teamwork, communication, and contributing to advancements in manufacturing processes.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. (*Position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.)

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
