PAL Technical Services is currently hiring a Quality Coordinator to join our team in St. John&39;s, NL.

Responsibilities:

• Administer Quality Reporting System
  • Support the administration and ongoing maintenance of the Quality and Safety reporting system to ensure accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of data.
• Reporting & Data Collection
  • Collaborate with Department Managers and Supervisors to: 
    • Collect operational, quality, and safety data daily
    • Complete and submit all required reports in a timely manner
  • Monitor reporting performance to ensure CPA (Corrective Performance/Closure) targets are achieved.
• Risk Assessment & Corrective Action Management
  • In coordination with Departmental Managers/Supervisors: 
    • Ensure all reports and audit findings undergo appropriate risk assessment and investigation
    • Track and verify implementation of corrective actions within established timelines
• Hazard & Incident Reporting Oversight
  • Maintain reporting processes to ensure timely capture and documentation of: 
    • Hazards
    • Incidents
    • Accidents
  • Ensure data integrity to support safety trend analysis and regulatory compliance.
• SMS Reporting & Governance
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of quality reports for: 
    • Core Team
    • Accountable Executive
  • Ensure reporting outputs support decision-making and safety performance monitoring.
• Performance Monitoring
  • Monitor departmental safety and operational KPIs/objectives
  • Provide regular feedback and performance summaries to the Core Team.
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Conduct regular review meetings with relevant managers to: 
    • Assess status of quality and safety reports
    • Ensure adherence to defined timelines and reporting standards
• Audits & Inspections
  • Participate in and/or complete: 
    • Internal and external quality audits
    • Inspections 
  • Support audit readiness and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Identify trends, gaps, and inefficiencies within Quality and Safety systems
  • Provide recommendations to enhance: 
    • Reporting processes
    • SMS effectiveness
    • Overall compliance and operational performance

Qualifications:

• 2+ years aviation experience in a safety or quality role maintaining a system preferred
• Experience developing and supporting and ISO system.
• Excellent administrative skills.
• Demonstrate efficiency in applying defined procedures.
• Reliability, efficiency, and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and effective time management skills.
• The ability to work independently and contribute to a diverse team.
