Morson are recruiting a number of Production Operatives with a C1 UK driving license to work on an initial 6 month contract with GKN Aerospace in East Cowes, Isle of Wight.

Candidates must be able to work 8am - 16.30 Monday - Thursday and 7.45 - 12.45 Fridays, this might move to double day shift Mon – Fri  06.00 to 14.00 week one then 14.00 to 22.00 week 2 and rotating weekly which pays 16.03/hour.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS:

•            No formal manufacturing experience required – on the job training will be provided as required.

•            Good level of literacy and numeracy.

•            Ability to perform tasks requiring good level of manual dexterity.

Desirable

•            Aerospace and/or manufacturing experience.

•            Experience of working within an organisation with a Lean/continuous improvement culture.

•            Forklift/PED stacker licence (if applicable within department)

•            Possession of a valid C1 classified UK Driving Licence
