AIR INUIT CORPORATE PROFILE
Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, charter, cargo and emergency air transportation services to Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for 45 years. Owned collectively by the Inuit of Nunavik through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 30 aircraft and employs over 1,000 people in one of the worlds most demanding flying environments.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Purchasing of aircraft parts and inventory control.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Aircraft parts procurement;
- Validating order requirements;
- Tracking orders;
- Inventory, shelf life control;
- Communicate with Suppliers for follow up of repairs;
- Verify proper certification is provided with part from supplier;
- Arrange for the loan of parts from other operators, verify certification and track parts for prompt return;
- Updating database as required;
- Carry out any other tasks necessary and required by the company.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have worked with aviation materials control for a period of at least two years
- To work co-operatively as a primary contributor in a team setting;
- Ability to show initiative, innovation and a good sense of organization;
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs;
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Preference will be given to the candidate with previous purchasing experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Airport Security Clearance (RAIC)
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
- Work location – Air Inuit Technical Center - Montreal-Trudeau airport;
- 37.5 hrs per week (Modified work weeks are offered to help our employees balance their work/home life)
COMPENSATION
- Compensation and benefits are determined in accordance with corporate policy;
- Hourly wage starting at $24.63
