We have opened a position as Software Architect and Developer to be part of the team that have developed more than 20 versions of the &34;Fully Integrated Tactical System&34; (FITS) for more than 15 different customers around the world.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Architect and Developer with a strong background in C&43;&43; development in distributed systems. If you also have knowledge in cyber security topics this will be the perfect opportunity to develop yourself.
As a Software Architect and developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and architecting the software of the new generation of Mission System in the Airbus platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Master the needs over our Mission Systems and especially focused on the Software of the system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in order to:
Translate the system requirements into software requirements (Identify, Analyze, Derive them, traceability,…) and ensure that security considerations are integrated into the Mission System software design.
Define the more suitable SW Architecture applicable to our Mission Systems in every project (including virtualization solutions).
Being able to evaluate the threats and vulnerabilities (i.e collaborating in Security Scope Analysis, Security Risk Analysis, pentesting technics, etc)
- Design and lead the Mission System software architecture solution to fulfil the Software Requirements:
Defining the aspects of the architecture and design in system/software (i.e security, communication, virtualization, etc)
Mastering the requirements allocation to the given system elements by mean of: principles, patterns, design and tools to apply them into our products.
Modelling in UML the SW Detail Design
- Lead a secure Software Implementation over our Mission System incorporating industry best practices and security standards into the software design, including:
SW Implementation and coding (in C&43;&43; and python) of SW Components under GNU/Linux OS.
Integration of third party software or/with other systems in a secure way.
Analysis of coding risk, secure coding practices and vulnerability mitigation.
- Participate in the Mission System software cycle:
Definition of Software Qualification Tests
Validation of SW Requirements and Qualification Tests
Verification of SW (Execution of Tests: Component Test and Integration Test).
SW Components configuration (GIT)
SW Problem Resolution managament (Requirement Changes Proposal and/or SW bugs in JIRA)
SW Release Configuration.
SKILLS
We are looking for candidates with the following skills:
Bachelor&39;s or Master&39;s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
Proven experience as system administrator with a focus on linux operating systems (SLES 11, 15)
Experience in Software Virtualization Architectures (focused on HA and/or FT solutions) and Designs (VMWare vSphere, KVM, Hyper-V, Containers, etc)
Proficiency of Full Stack Developer in C&43;&43; over linux OS platform, including strong coding and debugging skills.
Experience on complete Software Development Cycle (Requirement Management, Design, Implementation and Testing)
Experience on Software Configuration Management (processes, methods and tools).
Negotiation level of English and Spanish
Last but not least, be willing to: develop yourself, grow, learn and have proactive mindset
Will be very highly appreciated knowledge in any/several of these competences:
Experience in Network Architectures (CCNA certification)
Knowledge of security principles, best practices, and normative/regulation/standards such as: INFOSEC NATO Directives, RTCADO-326A / ED202A, RTCADO-356, ED203A, CCN-STIC-301, CCN-STIC-302, CCN-STIC-1615, MIL-HDBK-1785.
