Primary Responsibilities:
As a Lab and Test Resource Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth operations in our engineering labs by supporting product development and qualification efforts. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain 5S standards in the Engineering labs to ensure a safe, efficient, and organized environment.
- Ensure test equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use.
- Assign and manage records of lab and test resource usage, ensuring all systems are updated correctly.
- Work closely with EH&S to maintain safety standards and ensure compliance.
- Provide evidence of quality compliance standards as needed and support audits.
- Capture and update resource management systems, ensuring they remain accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide training for lab users on functionality and safety procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement of lab capabilities, processes, and knowledge.
- Support the traceability of products with assistance from the product management team.
- Develop and maintain in-house procedures to ensure efficient lab operations.
Qualifications:
We’re looking for someone with a versatile skill set who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment. You’ll need:
- Experience working in a dynamic environment, with the ability to manage tasks independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to interact at all levels within the organization.
- A strong attention to detail, practical skills, and the ability to support engineering teams with the tasks you handle.
- Familiarity with lab-based test equipment and its use, ideally with prior experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and knowledge of MS Access (beneficial, as our management tools rely on Access databases).
