Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs, ladders and work stands.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
- Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
- Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
- Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
Skills You Bring To this Role
- Proficiency in Laboratory practices, Lab Work Flow, Sense of Urgency, Industry Test Methods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective team player, with good critical thinking skills.
- Working knowledge of materials testing equipment.
- Prior Military Service, in combination with experience is preferred.
- General working knowledge of Mil Specs is preferred.
- Previous experience in QMS environment is preferred.
What you need to be successful
- 2 years of relevant experience working in a laboratory environment required.
- High School Dipolma/GED required; Degree or Technical certificate for related field from an accredited institution preferred.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office: Word and Excel
