Internship Web-Application Development

Job Description:

At Airbus Defence and Space in Friedrichshafen, we are looking for a full-time intern (m/f/d) with 35
hours per week (flextime) for web application development in the department Geospatial Solutions.

Your task revolves around the topic of web application and / or service development within the
scope of the TerraSAR-X Service Segment. The exact topic will be agreed upon at the start of the
internship.

Your location
At the Airbus location in Friedrichshafen, you work on innovations where others go for vacation. Your
workplace is directly at the Lake of Constance and is ideal for the summer. Whether for a lunch break
at or in the lake or the opportunities offered by the company sports groups for running or sailing,
there are a lot of after-work possibilities.

Your duties and responsibilities
• Design and development of web applications and / or services
• Topic to be agreed upon

Requirements
• Enrolled student in the field of computer science or a comparable field of study
• Knowledge in any programming language mandatory
• Knowledge in web development (JavaScript / HTML5 / CSS) and interface design (REST,
OpenAPI) is recommended
• Knowledge in Python development is recommended
• Experience in cloud technologies and containers is advantageous
• Experience in agile software development and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous
• Language skills: German (mother tongue) / English (basic understanding)
• Enthusiasm for technology and creativity in finding solutions
• An independent way of working and enjoying the implementation of challenging solutions
and working in a team
