At our Kilkeel Facility, we manufacture aircraft interior seating for global customers. To support our existing business and enable future growth we are offering a 12-month Industrial Placement opportunity to join our Digital Technology (DT) team. The role will be based on site at Kilkeel, Northern Ireland.
Supported by an experienced team, you will take ownership of DT-related issues and proactively identify solutions, while ensuring all administrative duties are completed. Other responsibilities will include:
This placement offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a professional DT environment. You will develop practical troubleshooting and technical support skills while working with helpdesk ticketing systems and real user queries.
Skills and Experience Required:
This Industrial Placement opportunity is suited to you if you are passionate about a career in DT. We will delight in training and supporting you during your placement which means you need to be a willing learner and committed to achieving both business and personal results whilst working as part of a team.
In addition to the above you should be studying towards a degree or integrated Masters in a relevant IT/DT discipline and be available to complete a 12-month placement commencing in June/July 2026.
You will have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows based environments and experience of PC hardware set up and configuration. With a customer-focused approach you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.
Substantial relevant work experience in an IT helpdesk or administrative environment.
