The Contract Logistic Support (CLS) Program is looking to staff an AN/TPY-2 Hardware Maintainer in support of the THAAD CLS Program. The AN/TPY-2 Hardware Maintainer will be responsible for planning and executing hardware maintenance. The AN/TPY-2 Hardware Maintainer will support an assigned THAAD team in maintenance planning and performing hands on hardware maintenance at either Ft Bliss or Ft Cavazos, Texas.
What You Will Do
- Provide hardware maintenance support of the THAAD system in all states and modes of preventative & corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the radar.
- Assist the in-maintenance planning and support to include independent assessments, audits, and special inspections of site activities associated with all Radar activity.
- Retain a mission ready focus and always maintain a deployable status. This position may travel with little notification for deployed assignments CONUS and/or OCONUS. CONUS TPY-2 support will take place at Ft Bliss or Ft Cavazos, TX or White Sands Missile Range, NM.
- The Hardware Maintainer will assist with identifying required job orders, account for the actions in ALCS and perform corrective maintenance seeing each the task to completion.
This position will remain in an unaccompanied deployable status. The selected candidate must understand that they are willing and able to travel for related work assignments to include deployment to work locations at various sites both nationally and internationally, sometimes at a moment’s notice.
What You Will Learn
- Candidate will learn the core companies of maintaining the AN/TPY-2 Radar System.
- Candidate will learn how to contribute value to the United States Army THAAD mission as a hardware maintainer.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Completion of the AN/TPY-2 Core Conduct course and on the job training OR have US Army THAAD experience OR successfully completed training via the Raytheon Skill Bridge Program.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- At least two years’ experience in the troubleshooting and operational checkout of TPY-2 systems.
- Documented experience in a leadership or management position.
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 2 years experience.

- Demonstrated excellence in past work performance.
- Must possess strong technical writing and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Logistics experience and ALCS knowledge.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
