About the role
You will be responsible for interacting with all the government authorities for separated staff and selective staff. This involve MOL/MOI, embassies, CID/DEA and other government authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and assist the team administrating the complete range of Government Services activities related to HR Separations in a consistent and timely manner, to the satisfaction of the customers and management.
- Deal with Ministry of Interiors MOI, Criminal Evidences and Information Department (CEID), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Ministry of Labour (Labour Departments) for HR Separations purpose.
- Understand the labor and immigration laws and apply them at work.
- Follow-up on National & GCEC Clearance and recovery/reimbursement/cheque bounce back case and follow-ups.
- Ensure that immigration rules and regulations are updated & documented.
- Make sure that the standard operating procedures are adhered in order to carry out work in a consistent manner.
- Follow up all pending request with the relevant stakeholders and update the applicants accordingly; escalate unresolved matters to higher management for further action to ensure smooth handling of work.
- Deal with deportation cases to clear Qatar Airways (QR) and QR Group for separated staffs.
- Follow-up the departure confirmation and update HRMS exit confirmation for separated staffs.
- Supporting the Senior Manager on critical and sensitive separation cases.
- Communicate effectively with the immigration departments and other governments entities to resolve work issues.
- Develop and maintain government officials’ databases to facilitate and expedite the work stream related to HR Separations.
- Based on the case, HR Government Separations Officer has to accompany the separated staff up to the Airport and Departure Gate. This will be handled case by case.
- HR Government Separations officer has to be stand by on duty 24/7 for Qatar Airways and Group of companies.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications
About You
- High School Qualification/Vocational Qualification/Diploma or Equivalent with minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
- Good command of English and Arabic both speaking and writing.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
