Role Introduction
Reports to: Assistant Manager Group Security - Operations
This role is part of The Group Security - Operations team, dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of all personnel and assets at Hong Kong International Airport.
In this role, you will handle and investigate security incidents, compile detailed reports, and conduct quality control inspections of security service providers to meet regulatory requirements. You will implement measures to manage inadmissible passenger and illegal immigrant trafficking incidents while protecting the airlines assets and passenger properties.
You will gain experience in operational security functions and incident management. This position offers opportunities for significant contributions to safety and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Discharge operational security functions to meet government and organizational requirements
- Handle security incidents reported by staff and compile detailed incident reports
- Provide data input regarding security incidents in the monitoring system
- Implement preventive measures to minimize immigration infringements and fraud
- Conduct quality control inspections of security service providers to ensure compliance
- Support staff and crew while assisting in investigations of security incidents
- Review and implement measures to protect company assets and passenger properties
- Participate in anti-trafficking operations with local and international authorities
- Respond to requests from government authorities for passenger information related to investigations
- Manage the watch list systems
Requirements
- Minimum HKCEE / HKDSE qualifications, with at least 5 subjects passed including English language, or equivalent.
- At least five years of experience in airport and airline services
- Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Availability to work shift duties, including overnight shifts, and to travel on short notice
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Valid full driving license is required
- Familiarity with relevant IT applications is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
