This is a brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art facility with significant investment in advanced equipment and modern manufacturing technology.In this role, you will be responsible for the final inspection and verification of gear assemblies at full production volumes. You will also support development and prototype work, working closely with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering to validate and release new products. The position supports both new and legacy gear programmes, contributing to the wider operational needs of the team.Your Responsibilities- Ensure adherence to all relevant quality procedures and requirements- Work to route cards, work instructions, and engineering drawings- Verify Quality Assured Product, including:- Completion and stamping of Works Orders- Visual inspection and confirmation of conformance to product standards- Material traceability and serialisation (as required)- Issue and Build Standard (version) control- Quality compliance, including FAI coverage, concessions, permits, and release gateways- Completion of quality documentation and QN closure- Gateway inspections for quality checklists and additional alerts- Apply basic measurement techniques and hand‑gauging methods- Perform part cleaning and protection activities- Identify and declare non‑conformances, working with Quality to disposition parts- Finalise paperwork and complete system transactions prior to dispatch- Operate and maintain stock control systems as required- Support general operational duties, including continuous improvement and 5S activities- Carry out all tasks in accordance with EH&S procedures
