POSITION SUMMARY
Supports the Facility Department: Performs repairs and maintains buildings/facilities. Can trouble-shoot and perform a hybrid range of maintenance related activities.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
- Provides preventive and cost-efficient repairs.
- Conducts routine or periodic inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery and equipment.
- Consults with engineers and vendors.
- Performs and or oversees maintenance trades including: carpentry, dry-wall repair, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, welding, assembly, set up and removal of furniture
- Oversees routine maintenance and cleaning duties of break rooms, coffee stations, bathroom checks, hanger, office areas, or any other related area/place.
- Maintains and cleans the facility grounds, gardens and or buildings.
- Assists with furniture set-up and office assembly/removal.
- Sets up tables, cabinets, chairs, shelves, etc. for conferences and meetings.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Education:
- High School Diploma.
Experience:
- Prefer 3+ years of experience in Facilities Maintenance.
- Prefer 3+ years of experience in infrastructure maintenance activities including carpentry, dry-wall repair, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, welding, assembly, set up and removal of furniture.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Assignments require Comprehensive Knowledge of all possible tasks and responsibilities within their Technical Area.
- Skills are broadly applied in multiple Technical Areas.
- Maintenance techniques related to carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC and welding.
- Must have valid a driver’s license.
- Knowledge of the methods, tools, materials, and equipment used in the construction, maintenance, repair and operation of facilities.
- Prefer ‘some’ knowledge of office ( Excel and Word ) and internet.
- ENS system, company policies and procedures.

- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
