UnspecifiedWe have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Technology Services & Operations Degree Apprentice to join our International Site Operations team.
Based in Shirley UK, the team is responsible for End User ServiceNow support and assisting Techs, working closely with all our business across the International region to drive Digital Transformation.

As an Apprentice you will gain practical on-the-job experience of a broad range of services we deliver. Over time you will be given responsibility for designated IT related matters and will be proactive to find solutions, whilst ensuring that all administration duties are completed i.e. logging and closing of helpdesk calls. Other typical responsibilities might include:
Working closely with team members on everyday tasks including administration of our IT Service Management Tool (ServiceNow, which is utilised for software asset management and hardware asset management)
Collaborating with the internal Service Management team to develop and update the ServiceNOW platform and identify enhancement opportunities and providing guidance to end-users
Supporting a variety of internal stakeholders across all areas of the business, including, but not limited to, end-users, support technicians, delivery managers and senior management
Acting as a primary point of contact for Asset Management queries and implementing and maintaining asset management processes
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure International requirements are met
Creating, updating and maintaining internal documentation, such as Standard Work instructions and ServiceNOW Knowledge Articles.
Producing reports and using appropriate data analysis techniques
Creating and distributing internal communications
Participating in Projects where required
Processing the monthly DXC invoice for hardware asset charges
Ensuring compliance with Collins Aerospace EH&S and Ethical Policies and with Federal, State and local laws
Continuous improvement tasks and identifying solutions to problems
This 3-4 year Level 6 Apprenticeship is ideally suited to you if you are motivated, diligent and excited by a career in DT with a global Aerospace and Defence company. Through hands-on training, you will develop essential IT skills, laying the foundation for a rewarding career with the potential to secure a permanent role with us.
We expect that you will be just starting your career so, alongside our training partner, we will delight in training and supporting you through your career journey. That means you need to be a willing learner and committed to achieving both business and personal results whilst working as part of a team. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas and information clearly. With a customer-focused approach you will be required to develop relationships and gain the confidence and cooperation of people within and outside the business. You will be proficient using Microsoft applications (to include Excel and PowerPoint) and have a great work ethic. You will also need to have obtained a grade 4 or above in 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (or equivalent level qualifications) and should have a level 3 qualification in an IT related discipline.
