As a Quality Control Inspector I, youll be using your skills and expertise to ensure that our incoming parts, in-process production, and shipped product fulfill all quality requirements. Youll be responsible for visually inspecting our materials, parts, and products at different stages of production, as well as recording observations and making recommendations for improving processes. Youll inspect for structural flaws, internal defects, or missing welds, and accept, reject, or request rework of defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Youll maintain our quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection.
Educational Background: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. This provides the foundational knowledge necessary for understanding basic quality assurance principles and practices. Able to interpret Drawings and Schematics a plus.
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in quality assurance or a related field is a plus. At least 2 years of Intermediate Computer Skills using Microsoft Office (MS Word and Excel). This experience helps ensure that the candidate has practical, hands-on knowledge of Computer usage skills.

Youll develop, apply, revise and maintain our quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Quality Assurance Inspector with 2+ years experience in a Manufacturing Quality
- environment with the ability to use basic hand measurement tools (calipers,
- micrometers, thread gauges etc.) is a plus
- As required by site, knowledge of and ability to use a wide range of higher precision
- measuring or Non-Destructive Evaluation equipment.
- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
- Effective teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with MS Office (MS Word and Excel)
- Knowledge and ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and drawings
- Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance
- Experience with finished goods inspection
- Experience with Costpoint and/or AEGIS-MES
- Basic understanding of material flow in operations
- Ability to draft work instructions and SOPs
