Manufacturing Engineering Lead M/F

Job Description:

•Manufacturing Engineering Lead participates in the execution of work transfers to ensure product cost, capability, and producibility targets are achieved. •Review Supplier Tool Design, Fixturing and Programming to ensure the optimum process is achieved•Support Supplier in participation and review of PFMEA, APQP and PPAP deliverables•Support Production Rate Readiness with Risk Mitigation actions and ensure FAI to Serial Production is smooth and streamlined•Act as an interface between Engineering & Purchasing to ensure supplier meets its capacity, productivity targets •Supports Project Management teams to ensure all industrialization milestones are complete in a timely fashion•Verifies Suppliers qualifications and approvals comply to the drawing requirements•Lead Supplier Continuous Improvement projects related to Quality and Productivity

Job Requirements:

•In depth knowledge of the various machining process such as Milling, Turning, Grinding on Hard metals (Inconel, Titanium and High Strength Steels)•Knowledge on Special processes and machinability post SP•Supply chain principles and tools, including performance audits•Project Management (PMP certifications) •Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP)•Understanding of quality standards such as ISO/AS
