* Associate’s degree or education/experience typically acquired through advanced education and 20 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* A minimum of 20+ years of experience in NDI or NDT.
* A minimum of 20+ years of experience in aerospace in-service support with ultrasonic testing (UT) and/or eddy current testing (ET).
* Experience writing UT and ET techniques and inspection procedures.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite.
* Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends if necessary.
* Ability to travel up to 15%.
* Must be a U.S. person. Preferred Skills
* 25+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
* 300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing.
* 800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET).
* Experience with CAD software. Job Duties & Functions
* Author Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
* Incorporate revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.
* Develop Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standards.
* Perform setup for non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.
* Compose procedure figures providing inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe/transducer placement, and notch signal response details.
* Report potential adverse trends or anomalous results.
* Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Physical Requirements & Environment
