Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking experienced Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for a military and defense facility in Santa Ana. This position is for the day shift from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime during the week and on Saturdays. The role offers competitive pay based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and/or electrical assemblies in a manufacturing setting.
- Use common hand tools and power tools proficiently, including pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, depth micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, pressure gauges, and multimeters.
- Read wiring diagrams and follow assembly instructions accurately.
- Communicate effectively with engineering and production teams.
- Adapt to rapidly changing roles and responsibilities in a high-paced environment.
- Support the drone team assembly project and assist in maintaining high production standards.
Essential Skills
- 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in the aerospace, electronics, or medical industry.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for mechanical and electrical assemblies.
- Working knowledge of electrical components and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Proficient computer skills, including use of standard browsers and word processing applications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with assembling complex electro-mechanical assemblies and high-quality wire harnesses.
- Ability to perform validation and testing of electronic components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.
- Familiarity with air-frame construction techniques such as rivets and mechanical fasteners.
- Experience in electronic box assembly troubleshooting and writing detailed issue tickets.
- Skill in testing and running RF systems and diagnosing issues.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
