Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Aerospace Operations Manager to oversee and drive daily operations across multiple functions within our production environment.
This role is designed for a true operational leader capable of aligning production, quality, manufacturing engineering, logistics, and overall shop floor execution in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
You will play a key role in building operational structure, developing teams, improving performance, and supporting the long-term growth of the site.
This is not a purely administrative management role. We are looking for a leader who is highly engaged on the floor, close to operations, capable of making decisions quickly, solving problems effectively, and leading by example.
The organization is currently operating in a dynamic and growing environment, requiring flexibility, ownership, adaptability, and a startup mindset.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead daily operational activities across production and support functions
- Coordinate and align Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Production, and Logistics priorities
- Drive operational performance, delivery execution, and production efficiency
- Support the development and structuring of teams and processes as the site grows
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, engineering standards, and internal procedures
- Monitor operational KPIs (delivery, productivity, defects, rework, FPY, etc.) and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify operational risks, escalate critical issues, and ensure timely resolution
- Lead root cause analysis activities and corrective action implementation
- Promote strong accountability, communication, and teamwork across all departments
- Collaborate closely with customers, internal leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Support workforce planning, operational organization, and resource allocation
- Foster a strong safety and quality culture throughout operations
- Maintain strong visibility and presence on the shop floor
- Lead by example in a fast-moving and evolving production environment
