Are you our New VP Passenger Operations Manager?


Join our Customer Care department as our VP Passenger Operations Manager, reporting directly to the SVP of Customer Care at our Headquarters in Fornebu, Norway.

In this role, you will oversee daily operations, especially during flight disruptions, and manage the Passenger Operations Team.

Your responsibilities will include managing budgets, forecasting financial outcomes, and ensuring Customer Care meets its financial goals. You will optimize processes and communication during disruptions, define and implement the companys vision, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

You are our ideal candidate if:

  • You have a minimum of 10 years in senior management roles, with a proven track record from Operational Airport and Airline Operational Control Center background.
  • You possess extensive knowledge of the entire airline operations chain and an airline-specific customer journey.
  • You have extensive knowledge of passenger rights and the airline’s liability, EU 261/2004.
  • You have experience in working with systems and programs directly related to flight disruptions (Amadeus, Altea Inventory, OPR, Netline, 15Below, Tidy).
  • You have a strong financial understanding with experience handling large budgets.
  • You have good knowledge of various financial tools such as Ariba, Semine, and Excel.
  • You have strong oral and written communication skills in English and Norwegian.

You will be responsible for:

  • Direct line for Manager Passenger Operations and for the Manager Agent/Group Support.
  • Ensure that all Specialists have the training necessary to perform their tasks.
  • Contribute to developing knowledge regarding flight disruptions within the organisation.
  • Evaluate current processes and systems with SVP Customer Care and implement procedures to maximise efficiency during flight disruptions, with a high cost and Brand focus.
  • Implement training and user manuals describing all practices and procedures related to the Passenger Operations role and the Agent/Group Support role.
  • Maintain close communication and collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monthly Financial Accruals and contribute to annual Budget process within area of responsibility.
