Stores Lead

PAL Technical Services is currently hiring a fixed-term Stores Lead to join our team in St. John’s, NL.

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Strategic Sourcing, the Stores Lead will refine, develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of stores processes.  Additional duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Lead and coach the current team of Stores Clerks on best practices and current initiatives.
• Ensure all staff have adequate training. 
• Implement and monitor process changes to maximize level of service, efficiency and effectivity.
• Actively participate in resolving any non-conformities related to stores processes that are raised in the SMS system.
• Determine root cause of inventory inaccuracies and implement preventative actions.
• Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma from a recognized post secondary institution.
• Previous Inventory Control experience – both hands on and in an electronic inventory management program.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Products.
• Great leadership qualities.
