OnsiteSMP Operations Manager
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented SMP Operations Manager to support the execution of critical site-level activities within the Separation Management Plan (SMP). This role is instrumental in ensuring operational readiness and execution of transition plans, with a focus on training coordination, buffer stock creation and tracking, and supply chain and SIOP-related data and activities.
Reporting to the Site SMP Transition Lead, the successful candidate will work across operations, supply chain, quality, and planning functions to ensure that transition deliverables are executed on time and in compliance with business and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support execution of site-level SMP transition tasks related to buffer stock, training, and process readiness under the direction of the Site SMP Transition Lead.
Coordinate and track training plans for impacted personnel and receiving teams, ensuring timely execution and documentation of all required learning activities.
Manage the creation, tracking, and reporting of buffer stock in alignment with the buffer stock plan, including coordination with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams.
Assist in gathering, analyzing, and validating data required for Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) processes, including demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels.
Partner with supply chain planners and SIOP leads to align transition timelines with supply chain strategies.
Coordinate and execute the classification and export of documentation as required to receiving team.
Maintain detailed trackers and dashboards for training completion, buffer stock status, and document readiness; provide regular status updates to the Site SMP Transition Lead.
Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure all required process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions are prepared, reviewed, and transitioned.
Identify and escalate risks or delays related to training and inventory execution to enable timely resolution and maintain program continuity.
Provide logistical and administrative support for transition-related meetings, reviews, and audits.
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with documentation standards throughout all activities.
Participate in site readiness assessments and reviews as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment; experience with SIOP, transition planning, or divestitures is a strong plus.
Solid understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and basic supply chain principles.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and planning tools; Excel proficiency required.
Experience in coordinating cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate into actionable insights.
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
