Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities.The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.The span of projects will include both greenfield and brownfield projects inside the MRO network to improve network capability and capacity. We are looking for someone with excellent project management skills, and an ability to effectively problem solve and deliver solutions, communicate insights, and operationalize the new capability and capacity.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the project execution, from scope and growth and expansion projects, determine key milestones and operating rhythms to execute on time and in budget.

  • Construction Management: Manage green and brown field projects , construction projects , ensure appropriate permits are submitted to the appropriate authorities

  • Construction Knowledge:Proficient in constructions methods,materials & project sequencing

  • Technical Expertise In Equipment & Tooling: Evaluate the technical requirement for new equipment/tooling installation

  • Project Delivery and Financial Management: Oversee the supply, design, delivery, installation, and commissioning of project

  • Standardization: Implement & Enforce MRO standards consistently across projects. Ensure with compliance industry & organizational guidelines

  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and present Project Plan, Project Change Requests, and Project Lists) and use these deliverables to execute all project activities schedules, technical documentation, drawings, and other related documents for client approval and internal use.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with project stakeholders including Owner, Designers, and Contractors to ensure successful project completion.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business leadership and cross-functional teams to develop project contracting strategies and deliverables

  • Safety Compliance: Drive construction site safety with zero (0) Level A/B/C/PSE events

  • Leading, facilitating and/or participating in lean events to address specific elements of projects (3P, Kaizen, Rate Readiness, etc)

  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions.

  • Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires significant experience in the Project Management & Site Management.

  • Bachelors degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

  • Min 7 Years of relevant experience in constructions of manufacturing plant (green or brownfield projects)

  • Prior experience in construction for aviation MRO related or any similar field is preferred

  • Good leadership quality and planning skills with sound knowledge of construction methods, project management, cost control, contracts and quality management.

  • Certified Construction Project Manager (CCPM)-CIDB is an additional advantage

  • Working knowledge in use of software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Auto-Cad & etc.

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, ISO 14001 standards and ISO 45001 standards in the construction industry will be an added advantage
