Overview of role:
We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Program Manager to lead strategic procurement initiatives, drive improvements, and champion compliance excellence across the organization. This role reports to the Director - Procurement, Process & Strategy and partners closely with cross‑functional teams including Operations, Finance, Legal, and IT to deliver high‑impact initiatives that strengthen our governance, efficiency, and overall procurement performance.
Key deliverables include:
- Lead end-to-end procurement and cross-functional projects from business case to closure, ensuring on-time ROI delivery.
- Develop and implement policies for organization-wide compliance, alignment, and consistency.
- Drive change management activities to accelerate new processes, systems, and standards.
- Identify risks, deploy controls, and cultivate a culture of integrity and regulatory adherence.
- Apply data‑driven problem‑solving to diagnose issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear communication and project transparency.
- Create project documentation, business cases, and strategic communications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that streamline processes and elevate procurement effectiveness.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for policy, compliance, process improvement, and project delivery.
Experience and qualifications:
- 15+ years’ experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related business operations.
- Strong project management capability with experience in policy, compliance frameworks, and technology‑enabled initiatives (ERP, Source to Pay).
- Develop and implement policies for organization-wide compliance, alignment, and consistency.
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and strong at managing multiple priorities in high‑volume environments.
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills; data‑driven decision‑making.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience with project management tools or automation platforms (asset).
- Prosci, PMP, or equivalent certifications (asset).
- Post‑secondary education in Business, Project Management, Procurement, or related field.
