About the role
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our quickly growing Digital Commerce & Service Experiences as a Product Owner Manager.
In this role, you will lead the digital product pod to ensure regular release of product enhancements and fixes, in line with digital product priorities and standards. You will make sure that all pod members understand their role and contribution, and are able to deliver their tasks in a timely manner.
As part of your daily responsibilities, you will also:
- Lead one or more assigned cross-functional digital product pod comprising of a engineers, UX/UI designers, QA and other specialists focusing on quality and delivery of new digital product features
- Define digital product pod sprints scope based on pods backlog, digital product priorities and pods available capacity
- Manage digital product pod activities around feature release at the end of the sprint including sign-off and initial monitoring to ensure release performance is in line with expectations
- Organize sessions to establish UX, UI, back-end deliverables for sprint. Ensure delivery is in line with standards and expectations by conducting UX review/feedback and demo sessions to wider digital teams/management
- Identify risks, issues and technical challenges by encouraging the digital product pod to file regular reports, and work with other business units within Finance, IT and Commercial to remove blockers or pull in additional temporary specialist support
- Understand the overall digital product roadmap and priorities, as well as objectives and expected impact of new features in order to be able document and prioritize new digital product features and user stories.

Qualifications
About You
We are looking for a professional with the following skills and experience:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent with 6 years of experience in Product Lifecycle management
- Experience in estimating work size and complexity
- Functional knowledge of web and mobile platforms
- Previous experience in managing digital product delivery, preferably in the travel industry
- Good understanding of all aspects of digital product development such as customer experience, UI/UX design, engineering, analytics
- Understanding of airline sales spaneting and distribution mechanisms
- Solid knowledge of core airline systems and applications
- Formal training or certification in airline reservation systems would be an advantage
- Expertise with Agile methodologies is a plus.
