Delta’s current system of record for purchases limits how we deliver and service enhanced product offerings. To solve this problem, Delta is creating a new system of record that requires a robust and flexible order data model. The order management data model will serve as the source of truth for all products sold and attributes of products needed to fulfill and service for the customer. To guide this effort, the Enterprise Solutions (ES) team is seeking a Product Manager, Order Data Model.The Product Manager will also play a key role in integrating the new order management system of record into commercial and operational platforms without interrupting existing critical business functions. This role will lead the vision and execution of IT development roadmaps that support the order data model and data integrity. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for data, are motivated by solving problems, exhibit curiosity to understand current processes, and can think creatively to identify solutions. Responsibilities: Partner with stakeholders across the enterprise to determine requirements for the order management data model. Work with business and IT partners to translate business requirements into usable and reliable data solutions. Analyze and use data to guide development roadmaps. Lead agile development teams to implement requirements. Collaborate with other agile development teams to implement the order management data model roadmap. Communicate progress against development roadmap to leaders and stakeholders.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a Data Engineering, Data Management, Data Analysis or Product Manager Role.Ability to understand large, unstructured data sets.Understanding of data modeling and modern software architecture styles.Demonstrates intellectual curiosity as well as sound analytical and communication skills; ability to communicate at all levelsShown success in understanding and improving complex processes.Experience translating a business vision into written technical requirements.Capable of managing multiple projects with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment Focused on results and can prioritize competing interests with seemingly disparate goals.Uses data to quantify problems, identify trade-offs and develop solutions.Communicates in a timely, accurate and effective manner.Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
