Job Designation
The Manufacturing Coordinator supports Manufacturing and Operations Function with coordinating activities for production, materials, quality, health, safety and environment. Assists the departments with administration assignments, while providing general logistics support to the manufacturing floor.
Job Core Responsibilities
- Assists management with coordinating activities for production, materials, quality, health, safety and environment.
- Provides general logistics support to manufacturing floor such as processing material requisitions, sub-assembly paperwork closure and material relocation.
- Maintains the databases, reports and records that are necessary to manufacturing operations activities.
- Schedules activities in the manufacturing process, to ensure the timely delivery of goods.
- Communicates effectively through phone, e-mail and correspondence, while maintaining a professional manner.
- Provides excellent customer service through prompt responses to inquiries and routine problem solving.
- Manages team calendars and conference room scheduling to facilitate smooth business operations.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.
Job Specifications
Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Years Experience: 2 years or more of relevant experience.
Skills:
- Knowledge and experience in a manufacturing operations process and the ability to coordinate activities for a team.
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations.
- Ability to solve typical problems by evaluating and selecting solutions from established options.
- Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
