Arconic is currently in search of IT Project Leader, Quality Systems to join our Enterprise Application Team in Pittsburgh, PA.

Primary Responsibilities
- Arconic uses EtQ Reliance Quality Management Systems (QMS) and is looking for someone who can manage their Quality Management Systems.
- The resource is responsible for requirements gathering, software configuration and scripting, training, and documentation.
- Administer the EtQ Reliance system and solve production issues; acting as the primary contact between Arconic and EtQ vendor for trouble shooting and product upgrades.
- Participate as an internal consultant to Arconic’s businesses and various customer groups.
- Work with Business Unit Leadership to define and expand use of the third-party cloud ETQ Reliance application
Key Objectives
- Establish and maintain a high level of stakeholder interaction to identify and recommend computer and business solutions that effectively and efficiently satisfy the quality systems needs of the business.
- Manage the reactionary support and/or preventive maintenance process for the systems or technologies in assigned area(s) of responsibility. Identify, establish, and support value-added cross-functional data and system linkages with Oracle and Power Apps, among others.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the business processes in area(s) of assignment; participate in, and learn how to perform, the analysis of the customers processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with customers to develop and maintain a roadmap for future upgrades within the Metallurgy and Quality systems (MQS). Identify solutions to modernize several aging applications. Plan for and successfully implement these solutions.
- Operate within Arconic’s IS standards and conventions and applicable Arconic BU/RU IT standards. Ensure appropriate methodologies, support processes, and procedures are followed.
- Comply with all guidelines detailed in the audit/compliance tool (with a specific focus on business partnerships, change control, disaster recovery, and security) for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Pursue continuous learning consistent with the movement in job requirements, changes in technology, and changes in the organization.
- Lead the discovery, planning, and implementation of process improvements in individual tasks and in the work team
(QUALIFICATIONS Section)
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related subject from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of practical Information Technology experience.
- Project management experience in leading several small to large projects, and demonstrate a solid understanding of project management processes, methodologies, and techniques.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S> person as a U.S> citizen, U.S> Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 year’s project management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing EtQ Reliance application or other third-party cloud Quality Management systems
- Exposure to Enterprise Resource Planning Systems like Oracle EBS, SAP, JD Edwards
- Knowledge on how to convert user requirements to design/technical documents
- Knowledge of Quality System processes and standards
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Java, Visual Basic, C++, SQL, PL/SQL
- Familiarity with Relational Database Model like Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products like TEAMS, Excel, Word
- Strong human relation skills, and able to interact with internal and external customers, vendors, other IS professionals, and GIS management.
- Be able to provide work direction to offshore project and support resources.
- Provide effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong documentation and verbal/written communication skills.
- Knowledge of governance and change management procedures in an IT environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively is a key success factor.
