Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: Day Shift (Hours TBD)
The Hazmat Training Supervisor is responsible for developing and maintaining a high level of individual knowledge and expertise in instructional system design, dangerous goods processes, applicable regulations, and instructional techniques. This position is responsible for specific tasks such as:
- Develop, create, and update Dangerous Goods training content, including DOT, IATA, and Lithium Battery webinar courses.
- Facilitate and conduct Dangerous Goods training webinars for customers.
- Coordinate and order webinar training materials and supplies.
- Develop innovative spaneting materials and strategies to promote Dangerous Goods webinar offerings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with external webinar vendors (e.g., UPS SCS, YESevents) to ensure successful program delivery.
- Schedule and coordinate private webinar sessions for customers.
This role requires strong regulatory knowledge, instructional design expertise, presentation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.
Required Skills:
- Experience with dangerous goods regulations (49CFR/ICAO/IATA)
- Have a broad understanding of UPS Package, Air Cargo, Air Freight and Airline operations
- Experience creating and/or facilitating training
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and PowerPoint
- College degree - Preferred.
