Are you ready to manage high-impact operations in the aviation industry? The activities of the Handling Manager II role involve, among others:
- Manage all aircraft and warehouse handling processes in compliance with safety, security, and legal requirements, as well as achieving financial and non-financial handling KPIs. This includes operational steering of large and complex handling operations, as well as managing Lufthansa Cargo-provided handling services to third party carriers
- Responsible for implementing central process directives, driving continuous process improvements, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety regulations
- Manage the optimization of the facility, staffing, and processes to maximize volume output while adhering to global frameworks
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of warehouse equipment as well as vendor building/facility infrastructure projects
* Takeover of additional tasks when is required

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (or foreign equivalent)
- 3 years of related experience within the airline industry
- Experience with lean process improvement and operational volume measurement
- Brief domestic and international travel required
