Prestwick Aerosystems continues Ayrshire’s long-standing aircraft manufacturing heritage. From our Prestwick site, we deliver major aircraft wing structures used on Airbus commercial aircraft worldwide.

As we modernise and invest further in our facilities, you will support the delivery of infrastructure projects across our operations, ensuring our site remains safe, efficient and fit for the future.

How you will contribute to the team

You will:

• Lead facilities and infrastructure projects from initial brief through delivery, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget and to required standards.
• Manage engineering proposals, ensuring they are maintainable, cost-effective, energy efficient and fully compliant with relevant legislation.
• Oversee technical and financial appraisal of tender returns and prepare supporting documentation.
• Support the Facilities Manager and deputise as required within agreed authority levels.
• Coordinate with local community bodies, neighbouring businesses, public utilities and other external stakeholders as required for site activities.

Requirements for the role

You will have:

• Technical experience in facilities, construction or building engineering within a complex environment.
• A relevant qualification such as HND, degree or equivalent experience in building, civil or services engineering.
• Experience managing infrastructure projects, including technical evaluation and financial assessment.
• Competence using project and engineering-related IT tools and systems.
