Our Emirates Engineering Facilities department is dedicated to creating and maintaining premier environments for all engineering needs. From state-of-the-art hangars and workshops to efficient material stores, offices, and training spaces, we ensure every facility supports and enhances engineering excellence. We manage electrical power, air conditioning, fire safety, cleaning, specialized equipment, landscaping, and compressed air systems, while supporting facility expansion and maintenance.
Facilities Maintenance Shift Supervisor will supervise a team of maintenance staff carrying out maintenance, repairs and installation activities on equipment and building services systems throughout the Engineering Facilities complex, and to ensure all such activities are carried out to the manufacturers recommended guidelines and recognised maintenance engineering practices.
In this role, you will:
Monitor the Energy Management, Building Management, Fire Alarm/Detection, Chiller Management and Emergency Generator Systems and initiate necessary action to rectify any abnormalities occurring during the shift period.
Respond to emergency situations such as activation of fire alarms, BMS alarms power failures, passenger/vehicle lift faults when required and carry out necessary emergency procedures and contingency plans.
Liaise with shift staff to assist specialist sub-contractors while they carry out maintenance and repairs to building services and aircraft maintenance support equipment.
Prepare shift rosters and ensure all shift inspection routines and assigned tasks are carried out as per the planned maintenance schedule, effectively and in the required time frame.
