Overview:

This role is responsible for seamless collaboration with Production Supervisor to meet daily customer demand.

Job Title:

Deputy Manager- Production

Job Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsible for SPQDCM Targets for the Value stream.

  • Exposure to Lean manufacturing concepts like SIPOC, 5S, TPM, MSW/CD, Standard work, Flow production, Set UP reduction, Root Cause Analysis, VSM.

  • Should have understanding of Digital Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 Concepts.

  • Should have Knowledge on Capacity Calculation, CT reduction and Takt time ,Line balancing , Resource planning etc.

  • Drive cost saving Initiatives across the Production cells.

  • Should have Effective communication skills and handle Shift operations.

Qualification:

  • Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics with minimum 7 years of experience

  • Experience in semi-automated Shop floor Management of  Mechanical product, managing medium to large team

  • Knowledge on providing effective root cause, corrective actions. Able to analyze failures and understand the process capability requirements to improve the yield. 

  • Proficiency in English, Kannada, Hindi and experience of dealing with unionized non-exempt employees. Able to communicate and ensure strict adherence of company policies, procedures and rules

  • Good communication, Team building and Interpersonal Skills. Self motivated with result-driven approach

  • Preference would be given to candidates having experience in handling large team members and fabric products

  • Knowledge on SAP production module

  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Time Management Software

  • Six Sigma Green Belt is Preferred

  • Key Collaborators: Quality Engineers , Maintenance Engineer , Manufacturing Engineer , Planning & Materials Team , HR & Admin Team
