Tasks
The Commercial Management Interns main tasks are:
- Collaborate with the Global Sales Team, CFO, MRO Event Managers, and the Controlling team to support improvement and further development of a highly complex, multimillion-dollar revenue business case calculation tool
- Work closely with the CFO, MRO Event Managers, and Controlling teams to design and create new reporting tools for MRO Event and Contract commercial performance, including:
- MRO Event Post Job Report
- Contract Performance Report
- Work in Progress Commercial Performance Monitoring Report
- Develop and implement a commercial activities management and tracking system for each Landing Gear MRO event, providing the Product Line team with real-time insights and improved operational efficiency
- Collaborate with the Head of Product Line to create a KPI monitoring tool for the team
- Support the Head of Product Line with process change implementation initiatives
- Work alongside the Continuous Improvement team on ongoing projects to enhance departmental performance
Requirements
The ideal Candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Currently in the second year of a Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related degree at a UK university
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret complex data
- Proficiency in workload management and commercial activities tracking tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and coding
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word) and other relevant software tools
- Strong presentation skills, including the ability to present to senior management
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- A passion for aviation (and of course A380!)
- Office environment, based in Heathrow Area
- Potential travel required
