Aviation Maintenance Fleet Manager

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Fleet Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing maintenance activities for assigned aircraft. This includes overseeing records, handling AOG events, collaborating with scheduling teams, and working with service centers and vendors. The role requires strong leadership, adherence to company values, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Aircraft Records & Maintenance Planning:
- Maintain accurate aircraft records and logbooks. Plan maintenance events to minimize downtime and meet company goals.
- Maintenance Coordination & AOG Management:
- Oversee all AOG events, including vendor selection and progress tracking, to ensure a quick return to service. Manage major maintenance events such as engine removals.
- Scheduling & Fleet Reliability:
- Coordinate with scheduling and operations teams to minimize flight disruptions during maintenance. Ensure the fleet remains reliable and mission-ready.
- Communication & Cost Oversight:
- Act as a liaison between operations, maintenance teams, and aircraft owners. Manage costs, scheduling, and maintenance downtime. Participate in weekly planning meetings.
- Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitor deferrals, labor hours, and parts supply. Ensure FAA compliance throughout all maintenance processes.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Develop and manage annual maintenance budgets. Track expenses and forecast maintenance costs accurately.
- Additional Duties:
- Provide turnover reports and assist with tasks as directed by the Director of Maintenance (DOM). Some evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Active Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
- Experience with aircraft such as Citation 750, Citation 680, Citation 560XL, Citation 525, Citation 510, Phenom 300, and Pilatus PC-12 is preferred.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMPay:
90k - 95k, depending on experience
