Job Description:

With our fleet of 400+ aircraft, we operate well over 2,200 daily flights, connecting 130+ destinations (of which 40+ are international), welcoming 118 million+ customers on board last year. We have an industry-leading on-time performance and one of the highest customer NPS in the Indian spanet. At IndiGo, we will continue to extend our scope, by spreading our wings internationally, from a domestic carrier to a global aviation leader.

Summary:

Responsible for driving trade sales revenue through effective relationship management with travel agents, TMCs, and trade partners. Ensure spanet penetration, customer satisfaction, and alignment with organizational goals while leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Achievement

  • Meet or exceed agreed trade sales revenue targets for the city.
  • Implement strategies to maximize revenue across domestic and international routes.

Trade Partner Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners, TMCs, and agencies.
  • Conduct regular reviews and agenda-driven meetings to expand business opportunities.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve organizational vision and prepare for higher responsibilities.
  • Maintain high engagement through regular meetings, brainstorming sessions, and recognition activities.

Collaboration & Synergy

  • Work closely with corporate and trade teams to generate leads and ensure smooth servicing of trade-centric agents.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Sales Support, Commercial, etc.) for seamless operations.

Customer Service & Satisfaction

  • Ensure timely and efficient handling of customer queries and complaints.
  • Provide accurate information on products, policies, schemes, and schedules.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Share timely MIS and actionable insights with leadership to track revenue and respond to spanet trends.
  • Monitor competitor practices and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Networking & Market Coverage

  • Ensure widespread spanet coverage through planned sales calls and participation in trade events, roadshows, and product presentations.
  • Enhance brand visibility in the trade segment.

Acquisition & Business Development

  • Develop a strong pipeline for new trade partners and SMEs through referrals, social media, and industry forums.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and networking abilities.
  • Revenue achievement vs. target.

Minimum Requirement :

Should be graduate with minimum 3 years relevant travel industry background.
