Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Air District Ramp Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day air container shift and marshalling operations. He/She oversees the timely retrieval of freight containers to and from belts and aircraft and aircraft marshalling to ensure service commitments are met. This position works with front line supervisors to ensure union and non-union employees comply with UPS and regulatory agencies compliance and safety regulations. He/She collaborates with Air Managers and Center Managers.
This position supervises Part-Time Air Supervisors, Union Shift employees, and Marshalling employees.
The ideal candidate must be highly organized and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to teach and train employees to achieve operational goals.
Additional Information:
- Primary Shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 03:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
- This position is subject to random drug testing.
