Heli-1 is seeking motivated A&P mechanics to join our team and work on UH-60 helicopters. Whether you're an experienced mechanic or new to the UH-60 platform, this is a great opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to aerial firefighting operations.
Position Overview:
We are hiring UH-60 Mechanics and Apprentice Mechanics to support our aerial firefighting fleet. Mechanics will handle inspections, maintenance, and repairs, as well as assist in building new aircraft to expand our operations. Apprentice Mechanics will receive hands-on training while supporting maintenance tasks. Both roles offer a dynamic work environment and opportunities for career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on UH-60 helicopters.
- Assist in building new aircraft to expand our fleet.
- Support daily operational readiness for year-round firefighting missions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure all work meets safety and operational standards.
- Participate in winter operations, which may include working internationally or at Heli-1’s Missoula hangar on maintenance, inspections, or other aircraft types.
