Traveling Field Service Representative (3-6 Month Contract, Long-Term Potential)
Locations: Nationwide and International Travel

STS Technical Services is seeking highly skilled Traveling Field Service Representatives (FSRs) to join our team for a 3-6 month contract with the potential for long-term opportunities. This is a 100 travel role, where FSRs will provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and training on military vehicles at up to 22 fielding site locations across the United States and internationally on an annual basis.

As a Field Service Representative, you will work with military vehicles, troubleshooting various vehicle systems such as powertrain, cooling, electrical charging, suspension, heating and ventilation, steering, and the integration of ancillary equipment. Additionally, FSRs will provide orientation and training to key personnel regarding operations, maintenance, repair, and parts supply, while supporting efforts for equipment retrofits at military bases worldwide.

• Provide mechanic-based field support for military customers within assigned regions.
• Diagnose, repair, and service defense light-wheeled vehicles.
• Coordinate with customers and team members to ensure timely service and parts delivery to meet customer satisfaction.
• Anticipate customer needs and develop recommended parts stocking requirements for upcoming field and maintenance operations.
• Train operators and maintainers on proper operational and maintenance procedures for military vehicles.
• Support domestic and international field service efforts.
• Administer defense warranty processes and manage claims.

• Experience with JLTV, FMTV, FHTV, HETT, HEMITT, or other military wheeled vehicles.
• Class A or Class B CDL license with air brake endorsement.
• Degree in vehicle service repair, heavy equipment, or diesel technology (preferred).

• 5+ years of mechanical experience in heavy/light wheeled military vehicles (5-10 years preferred).
• Ability to travel 100 of the time, worldwide, away from home.
• NACI-level security clearance or ability to obtain.
• Active U.S. Passport valid for 5+ years.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
