Job Title: TIG Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated TIG Welder to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in supporting TIG and laser welding for high-precision aerospace components. You will work under the guidance of experienced team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of quality parts.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of TIG and Laser Welding to prepare and deliver high-precision components.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to assist in the setup and production of aerospace parts.
• Operate metal forming equipment such as brake presses, shears, English wheels, rollers, and drill presses with guidance from experienced technicians.
• Aid in the in-process inspection and measurement of parts using precision hand tools to ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and standards while operating machinery and handling materials.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely and accurate task completion.
• Assist in documenting production processes, measurements, and quality control checks.

Essential Skills

• TIG welding experience OR Laser Welding experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in basic math and measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Interest in aerospace manufacturing and technology.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced setting.
• Problem-solving skills and initiative to contribute to process improvements.
• Ability to work in a hands-on, physically demanding environment.
• Proactive, can-do attitude with flexibility and adaptability.

Work Environment

The work environment is partially climate-controlled, with large fans to mitigate summer heat. Tools are provided, and the atmosphere is highly collaborative.

This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $39.00/hr.
