The Senior Patriot Frequency Converter Maintenance Technician supports the Hawk & Patriot Sustainment Contract (HPSC). Participates in frequency convertor maintenance, repair and improvement for the Royal Saudi Arabia Defense Forces (RSADF) while assigned to the HPSC program. Provides technical and engineering advice to the Royal Saudi Arabia Defense Forces (RSADF) leadership. Participates in preventive maintenance operations in all maintenance levels. Performs troubleshooting, fault isolation and field maintenance repair for Frequency Converters for RSADF systems covered under the currently approved TAA. Functionally tests power frequency convertors after making repairs to assure compliance with design specifications and standards. Participates in the opening and closing of work orders and in on-the-job training (OJT). Implements approved engineering changes. Enforces approved RSADF safety policies, procedures, and standards. Performs job related duties as specified by the user unit. This position is in Saudi Arabia
Required Skills
Graduate of a technical school in electronics or manufacturers course of instruction on power frequency convertors, or equivalent on-the-job training (OJT).
Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in troubleshooting and repair of power frequency convertors.
Must be proficient in troubleshooting, fault isolation and repair of various types of power frequency convertors. Skill in the use of engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, general purpose commercial test equipment and common tools is required.
Proficiency in the English language, spoken and written.
Requires a current SECRET Clearance

Qualifications You Must Have:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Power Generation with 4 years of related experience, or Associate Degree with 6 years of experience or HS Diploma/GED with 10 years of related experience.
Graduate of a technical school or manufacturers course of instruction on Frequency Converters or equivalent on-the-job training (OJT).
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in troubleshooting and repair of frequency converters.
15KW, 30KW, and 150KW Generators
ECU & Electrical Power
Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
