RII - REDLINE INSPECTOR
HQ Aero is currently recruiting for RII - REDLINE INSPECTORS in LAKE CITY, FL.

Job Summary:
The RII -Redline Inspector is responsible for performing Redline Inspections on Heavy Commercial aircraft and to perform work within estimated time and within FAA, and customer standards of quality.

Responsibilities:
As an experienced RII – Redline Inspector, you are qualified to:
  • D etailed inspection of specific critical areas of the aircraft to ensure airworthiness. Inspect aircraft and components by obtaining and interpreting work cards, reviewing inspection requirements scope and detail, completing visual inspection of aircraft areas opened by AMTs including but not limited to fuel tanks, empennage, cargo areas, under floor area, fuselage skin, engines, pylons, wings, flight control surfaces, flight decks, and landing gear.
  • Ensure all assigned primary inspections are properly completed in compliance with established policies and procedures and corresponding inspection records and reports.
  • Identify non-routine work on aircraft systems operations, including but not limited to, engine performance, pneumatic / hydraulics, pressurization, air conditioning, electrical, fuel, and flight controls. Identifying location of discrepancies by using fuselage body stations and butt lines. Interpreting and ensuring compliance with all maintenance manuals including Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and Fleet Campaign Directives.
  • Perform inspections only on products for which they have been properly trained and qualified.
  • Ensure aircraft and surrounding areas are in a safe condition for the work being performed.

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensed A&P Rating
  • A minimum of 2 years heavy commercial experience on Airbus A319/320/321 is required for the listed skills.
  • A 40-Hour A319/A320/A321 Gen Fam required (Must have Certificate of previous training)
  • Language (read, write, speak, and understand English)
INSPECTORS PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Subject to noises in excess of 85 dB.
  • Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and/or stand for prolonged periods of time and climb ladders and/or service stands.
  • May be exposed to hazardous chemicals and requires the use of all safety equipment.
  • Must be able to breathe through a full-face respirator.
  • Job requires participation in the DOT random drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Normal or corrected hearing.
  • Capable of lifting fifty (50) pounds.
  • Minimum visual acuity of 20/40 corrected.
