Job Title: Quality Inspector AJob DescriptionThe Quality Inspector A ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations set by the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) and/or European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). This role involves performing preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections; conducting receiving inspections by approving or rejecting incoming materials through established processes, and recording quality inspection results. The inspector uses various tools, aids, and devices to determine tolerances and specification limits and conducts detailed inspections of parts, materials, paint, back-shop activities, functional tests, operational tests, and dimensional inspections to determine the airworthiness of aircraft systems and components.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with FAA and EASA regulations.
- Perform preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections.
- Conduct receiving inspections and approve or reject incoming materials.
- Record quality inspection results accurately.
- Use inspection tools and devices to determine tolerances and specification limits.
- Perform detailed inspections of aircraft parts, materials, and systems.
- Determine airworthiness of aircraft systems and components.
Essential Skills- 4 years of quality inspection on aircraft components and systems
- First article inspection experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications- A&P License preferred but not required
