Job Title: Production Assembler
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Assembler. In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of subassemblies using small hand and power tools, final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles (drones), and testing and troubleshooting subassemblies and final assemblies. You will work closely with other Production Technicians and Engineers to ensure high-quality standards and improve assembly processes.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly of subassemblies using small hand and/or power tools
- Final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles (drones)
- Testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies and final assemblies
- Collaborate with Production Technicians and Engineering to improve assembly processes and documentation
- Work with manufacturing engineers to enhance assembly efficiency, product quality, and reduce manufacturing costs
- Ensure work order protocols are followed and paperwork is completed accurately
- Train other technicians on product assembly and established processes
- Conduct in-process quality checks to maintain high standards
- Follow established procedures on routine work and seek guidance on new assignments
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Skills- 2+ years of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency with hand tools such as crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, and air tools
- Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics
- Basic computer operation skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Open to candidates with 1 year of experience if highly qualified

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing environment that is extremely clean and quiet. You will be working alongside dozens of other assemblers, each potentially working on different projects and drones. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 1st shift (6am-4:30pm), with flexibility if needed. Additionally, the 9/80 schedule allows you to have every other Friday off.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00
